About ISO 45001:2018
ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Standard (ISO 45001) is an internationally recognized standard that provides a framework for organizations to manage occupational health and safety risks through an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). The standard focuses on creating safer workplaces by proactively identifying and mitigating risks that could lead to work-related injuries or illnesses.
The standard was developed to help organizations strengthen workplace safety, improve employee well-being, and establish a proactive culture of health and safety. ISO 45001 focuses on the following key elements:
- Providing a framework for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
