About Lytics
Lytics is a customer data platform (CDP) that centralizes and analyzes customer data to deliver personalized marketing campaigns. It helps businesses improve customer engagement by providing insights and automating personalized content across various channels.
Benefits
As a CDP, Lytics sources and combines your user data like browsing behavior, purchase history, demographic data, and interaction data, and builds a comprehensive profile of your user. You can then utilize these disparate data points to create targeted ‘audience’ groups. For instance, you can segment users into audience groups like ‘highly engaged users’, ‘cart abandoners’, ‘inactive users’, and so on and so forth.
With integration between VWO and Lytics you can import these audiences into VWO and then use it for targeting across VWO Testing, Insights, and Personalize.
Use cases
1. Check session recording of at-risk users
For instance, suppose you have created an audience of at-risk users whose interaction on your website is changing for the worse. You can import these audiences into VWO and check their Session Recordings or Heatmap to understand the friction points that are causing them to bounce off your website.
2. Run surveys on your targeted audience defined in Lytics
For instance, you can run the survey on the same at-risk audience to understand their feedback and ask what can be done to improve their experience.
3. Run A/B tests and personalization campaigns on Lytics audience
For instance, after surveying the issue concerning at-risk users, you identify that it’s the checkout experience on your website that’s confusing them. To test your hypothesis, you can import this audience into VWO and A/B test alternate checkout experiences (tiered shipping vs flat shipping cost for example) on them to determine the right shipping experience.
Alternatively, you can also trigger a personalized experience for these users specifically, incentivising them to complete the purchase.
