VWO allows you to add an unlimited number of users to your account and also assign access permissions to these users (it controls what actions are users permitted to take on VWO). Earlier you could restrict users to only log in to their VWO account from specified IP addresses. This was a great setting if you wanted users to access VWO when they are on office premises or using a VPN. However, in the past few months, there has been a big change in how businesses around the world operate.
With this recent enhancement, you can now restrict users to only log in to their VWO accounts from either a specified IP address or a location they are based in, or both. With a lot of employees working from home, organizations now have employees working from various locations around the globe and the location of the office headquarters is no longer the only location that all employees work from. With this capability, you can easily add a level of protection to your VWO account by adding multiple cities, regions, and even countries and allow your employees to log in to VWO from there.
This capability can help add a layer of security to your VWO account and works great alongside SSO (Single Sign-On) which enables you to only allow users to log in if they have access to your organization’s email account.
This capability is available in all VWO plans and to learn more about this capability, refer to this knowledge base article.
