Fifteen years ago, I co-founded VWO with a simple conviction: data, not guesswork, should shape the digital world. From the beginning, our goal was to help teams truly understand their users and build better digital experiences with confidence.
Today, that mission takes a giant leap forward and it marks an important milestone for VWO.
I am incredibly excited to announce that VWO and AB Tasty are joining forces, subject to customary closing conditions. Together, we are creating a global leader in digital experience optimization, a platform with more than $100M in revenue, serving over 4,000 customers worldwide, supported by a team of nearly 800 talented people across 11 global offices.
VWO and AB Tasty are coming together to form a single, unified digital experience optimization platform, built to serve modern product, marketing, and growth teams around the world. This is not a sudden shift, nor a short-term move. It is the result of years of parallel thinking, shared values, and a common belief in where digital experience technology needs to go next.
A Shared Foundation
Both VWO and AB Tasty were founded more than 15 years ago, with experimentation at the heart of what we do.
As customer needs evolved, both companies independently grew beyond traditional A/B testing. Each expanded into broader areas of experience optimization, personalization, insights, and decision-making, guided by the same principle: helping teams improve digital experiences with clarity, confidence, and measurable impact.
Over time, we reached the same conclusion.
Digital experiences are becoming more complex. Teams operate across websites, mobile apps, and products. They are expected to move faster, personalize more deeply, and demonstrate impact with greater rigor. Yet the tools they rely on are often fragmented and disconnected.

When I first began conversations with Alix and Rémi, the co-founders of AB Tasty, what stood out was not just how closely our products aligned, but how closely our values and culture did.
This isn’t just a financial merger; it’s a meeting of minds. VWO and AB Tasty were built with a similar mindset. Both companies focused on building strong fundamentals, profitable growth, and long-term customer value, rather than chasing short-term trends or quick wins. Over more than a decade, that discipline shaped how we built products, how we invested in our teams, and how we formed lasting relationships with customers.
This combination reflects that same long-term way of thinking. It is not driven by urgency or external pressure, but by a shared belief that bringing together two complementary businesses at the right moment allows us to build something stronger and more enduring. Just as importantly, it gives us a clearer path to pursue a common vision for the future of digital experience optimization, with greater focus, scale, and responsibility.
A unified leadership team
The combined company will be led by a leadership team drawn from both organizations, ensuring continuity, clarity of direction, and long-term accountability.
- Sparsh Gupta, current Co-founder & CEO at VWO will serve as Co-founder & the Chief Executive Officer of the combined business
- Ankit Jain, current CTO at VWO will serve as the Co-founder & Chief Technology and Product Officer
- Rémi Aubert, Co-founder & Co-CEO of AB Tasty will serve as the Chief Customer and Strategy Officer
- Alix de Sagazan, Co-founder & Co-CEO of AB Tasty will serve as the Chief Revenue Officer
This leadership structure brings together deep product expertise, customer focus, and global execution experience, all aligned around a shared vision for the future.
All four co-founders, Alix, Rémi, Ankit, and myself, continue to hold meaningful stakes in the joint business and remain deeply committed to the vision that started more than 15 years ago and to building a company that endures.
What this means for our customers
All existing client relationships, contracts, pricing, service levels, and support remain unchanged. The teams clients work with today continue to support them with the same focus and care.
At the same time, this combination strengthens our ability to invest for the long term. Over time, clients can expect a more integrated experience across experimentation, personalization, behavioral insights, and optimization, supported by a unified platform vision and deeper investment in innovation.
