Thank you for your interest in participating in the VWO Humans Vs AI copywriting challenge. Congratulations 🎉, your participation has been shortlisted and you can now submit your entry. We will enable you to get access to this AI copywriting feature in VWO and then set up the AB test either in VWO or any other testing platform of your choice.

  • Login to your VWO account by clicking here to play around to get a hang of the feature.

  • Once you are ready to set up the test for the contest, please adhere to the below steps:
    1. IMPORTANT: To ensure transparency in the competition process we require you to record your screen while you generate the AB test using the AI copy suggestion feature and create your A/B test. You can use Loom for this purpose or any other screen recording solution of your choice. Please note that this is a mandatory step towards counting your participation in the competition.
    2. We suggest creating this test for a high traffic page to see a faster outcome.
    3. Create a new AB test: Go to the A/B testing option under the Testing tab and click on the Create button.
    4. Click the text you want to generate the AI variation for and select the Suggest Variations option. (We suggest selecting a prominent CTA text, headline or product description to see better results).
    5. From the list of suggestions offered, select the AI copy that you would want to test your human-written copy against, and click on Next.
    6. Back in the VWO dashboard, select the Goal and adjust other settings based on your testing preferences and then click on Start on the top right corner. Your A/B test will now be LIVE.
    7. You can now stop recording your screen and share the link to the video via this form.

  • We will closely monitor the test performance and will share the results on our leaderboard ( Here is the mockup of the leaderboard so you can see what details will be added there)

  • No worries! Click here to submit your VWO account number or associated email id. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here. We will activate the feature within 24 hours and inform you to move to step 2.

  • Please be aware that you will need to add the VWO Smartcode snippet to your website to be able to participate in this contest. Once done, move to step 4.

  • We also suggest choosing a high traffic page for this contest to see a faster outcome.
  • We will reply back with screenshots from the VWO app of the AI-generated copy using the new feature. We will provide 15 copy options for each element you outlined in step 1.
  • You can choose any of the AI copy options and set up the AB test in any platform of your choice.

  • Once you have a winner, please submit the details using this form. We will share the results on our leaderboard (Here is the mockup of the leaderboard so you can see what details will be added there).

  • Beyond this contest, if you are interested in getting access to this AI feature to play around yourself, please create a VWO free trial account and send us an email at ai.competiton@vwo.com. We will activate this feature for you to play around within 24 hours.

  • No problem at all. Simply create a VWO free trial account as the first step.

  • Once done, click here to submit your VWO account number or associated email id. We will activate the feature within 24 hours and inform you to move to step 3.
