How to delete variations from a running test?

To maintain statistical integrity, you can’t remove or delete variations / sections (you can only add them) from a running test which has collected data. However, there are two ways to accomplish what you’re looking to do:

  1. Clone the current test and then, in the cloned test, remove the sections/variations you don’t want and start the test.
  2. Flush the data from your current test, edit the test, and then start it up again.

Note: You can “disable” a test by clicking under the “Action” column in the “Summary Table” of your report. Disabling a variation means that visitors who were slotted to view it continue viewing it, but their actions are not counted by VWO.
